My imagination has always been wild. When I was in the 2nd grade my teachers would send notes home with my report card, with comments like, "A great imagination" or "Very creative, but not working to potential" which would mean that I had a tendency to stare out the window and draw when I should really have been working at an assignment.
Wild hearts cannot be tamed. Or rather, daydreaming seven year olds cannot be tamed. Whichever way, I've reached adulthood with my imagination intact and active as ever.
Wandering attention also means I must work hard at getting it all down on paper, instead of daydreaming entire afternoons away.
